The June issue of Empire hits UK shops this week, and it’s a bumper Bond special issue! As well as a Daniel Craig/Skyfall cover and article (with exclusive new images) there are five other articles dotted through the issue, one each for Brosnan, Daltry, Moore, Lazenby & Connery.

Since the official announcement of Skyfall, we’ve been wondering whether there would be an official video game tie-in, as there was for the last two Daniel Craig movies. Now we have our answer!

With filming on Skyfall now in the final few weeks (can you believe it’s already been 5 months since the official press conference in November?) the production has let loose with a few more insights into the movie. High profile movie press (such as Empire magazine and /Film) were invited recently for a tour of Shepperton Studios, and now we have some glorious new images.

Yep, be prepared to revisit your childhood, when later this year Scalextric release a new Skyfall tie-in set, to join their range that includes cars from Casino Royale, Goldeneye and Goldfinger.

A new official video blog from the set of Skyfall has been released – featuring Sam Mendes discussing his connections with the Bond franchise. We get to see a few very teasing glimpses of locations and scenes – with a bit of M in here office and a very dimly lit Daniel Craig snooping about with a pistol.

The offficial 007.com website has released what they refer to as ‘the first official photo’ from Skyfall. Whilst the previous photo of Daniel Craig by the pool was widely reported as the first official pic, this one is the first one that the official sources have laid claim to.

The latest issue of Empire magazine, out this week, features interviews with Skyfall’s leading ladies Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe. It is branded as part of the ’50 Years of Bond’ celebrations, so hopefully will mean Empire plans to continue dropping James Bond articles throughout the year.

In the UK, the Royal Mail are running a vote for the 10 best Bond movie posters over the last 50 years and 22 movies. The winning images, as voted for by the public, will be released in a commemorative set of stamps to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
